Role: Pre-Construction Manager

is looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our team and take ownership of the work acquisition process while driving innovation and growth in our company.
Who You Are:
You have 8+ years of construction experience with a focus on estimating and 5+ years in management. You thrive in leadership roles, excelling at building client relationships and managing pre-construction processes. You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed project deadlines. You have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).You hold certifications or memberships in relevant industry organizations (Preferred but not required).

Job Requirements:
Leadership: Manage and mentor estimators while providing guidance in contract negotiations and client relations. Business Development: Develop relationships with at least two new companies (e.g., general contractors or facilities maintenance teams).Financial Goals: Bring in $1.5 million in new GC projects at company set margins within 12 months. Process Improvement: Provide structured feedback to improve estimating processes. Client Interaction: Visit prospective clients regularly and maintain a professional presence in industry organizations.
Key Competencies:
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proven track record in estimating and bid review. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within defined authority. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in construction estimating software and related technology.
